Carol, has once again been selected to participate in the Annual Artists for Conservation Exhibition.
Love Blooms has been invited to be a part of the live 2016 AFC (Artist For Conservation) exhibition. The AFC’s annual juried exhibit celebrates excellence in the depiction of nature, raises awareness of conservation issues and directly supports organizations dedicated to addressing them. The exhibit premiers in conjunction with a multi-day Artists for Conservation Festival and is scheduled to tour in late 2016, including to the Arizona- Sonora Desert Museum. In addition to the live exhibit, there will also be a virtual exhibit featuring approximately 175-200 artworks including work from the live exhibit.
The live exhibition will be held at the Grouse Mountain Resort, Vancouver, Canada. opening September 29, 2016 and running through October 10, 2016. Additional information will be shared in coming newsletters closer to the exhibition opening date.
Artists for Conservation is a Canadian based international non-profit. Their mission is to support wildlife and habitat conservation and environmental education through art that celebrates nature. AFC represents 500 artists from 27 countries,in the nature/wildlife art genre, who are committed to conservation. Many of the world’s most recognized names in the field are actively involved.
Through international art exhibits, collaborative art-science expeditions, annual festival, awards, publications, and online initiatives, they engage, inspire and inform the public, and empower passionate professional artists as effective ambassadors for the environment.
