Aries Maple, has been accepted into the 4th National Juried Exhibition of Small Scale Works of Art titled The 12X12 Exhibition presented by the Todd Art Gallery at Middle Tennessee State University.  Dimensions of all works in the exhibit must not exceed 12”. Chosen from 450 applicants, 71 images were selected by jurors Eric Snyder, Gallery Director, Department of Art, Middle Tennessee University and Jochen Wierich, Curator of Art at Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art in Nashville, TN. Wierich received his PHD in American Studies at the College of William & Mary and has published a number of books on the topic of American Art and Culture. He  has taught History of American Art at colleges in both the United States and Germany.  The exhibit will open January 17, 2013 with a reception and juror awards to be held on January 23, 2013. The exhibition closes on February 14, 2013.
